WORKING WITH WOOD

When I’m not behind the computer designing, I'm in the woodshop. Either restoring something old or creating something new. I love the challenge and like testing my ability while ending up with a piece I can use everyday. It not only gets me physically working with my hands, but gives me time to relax, think and listen to music or a good podcast or two. Most of the furniture in my home I’ve built myself. Here are a few projects I've had a chance to photograph.

I love the glass brick lights that are currently popular, but don’t like that they use LEDs. I find they can limit the ability to dim smoothly and prevent you from getting that warm halogen glow. I decided to try and make my own with off the shelf parts I found and some extra scrap wood.
